Golden Violins:
Rents violins, violas and cellos on a yearly basis. Renters may exchange
instruments for the next size at any time during the rental period or at
the time of re-rental. Our instruments are well made, properly set up in
our shop and well maintained. We also rent upgraded instruments for a
proportionally higher fee and accommodate customized rentals.
At the end of the rental period: You have the option of returning the instrument and receiving any deposit made. Purchasing any instrument using 50% of the total rental fee. If you purchase a handmade instrument crafted by Golden Violins you may apply 100% of the total rental fee toward that purchase.
Current Rental Fees: (All rental fees do not include 8% tax)
Violins:
1/32 to full size outfits: $130.00 per year
Violas: 14” and smaller outfits :
$130.00 per year
Violas:
15” to 16 1/2 “ outfits: $230.00 per year ($150.00 security
deposit.*)
Cellos: 1/4 to full size outfit: $350.00
per year ($200.00 security deposit.*)
*all security deposits are returned to renter when instruments are returned at the end of the rental.
Damage / loss insurance: Insurance may be added per year at the following costs: violins and violas 14” and smaller: $35.00 per year. violas 15” and larger: $40.00 per year. cellos: $45.00 per year. please contact golden violins for further information.
